Finance ministry issued a notice regarding ban on creation of new?
The ban by finance ministry is on the creation of new posts and not on filling up of the post. RBI Grade B isn't a new post. What I understand, as organisations grow, they create new posts (which weren't there earlier) for two reasons 1.To manage new/existing sectors in a focussed manner. 2. To accomodate employees aspirations/promotions by creating new posts for e.g ' Dy director of randomness' . Thus I don't think it will affect as such the vaccant positions but then as everyone is in cost saving mode so there is a drive for rationalisation of resources which in turn means less number of vaccancies.
