It depends on the legal contract. If you havent signed any you can send a resignation and escape however I would not suggest that instead send a resignation and ask for a early release because there isnt much dependency on you most organisations will relieve you on the same day (without serving the notice period). You can decide if you wish to mention it as part of your experience or not.
