How does Russia counter the United Statess B-52 bombers in Europe?
The Russians do the same thing we do, monitor their skies using radar. Any aircraft approaching their border that is not positively identified is intercepted by fighters and either escorted, turned away, or shot down. They routinely intercept and escort our B-52s during their time near the Russian border.
