I served my notice period but my employer is refusing my releiving by?
Basically your legal obligations are fulfilled, and employer is not acting professionally. If the project doesnt complete for another year it doesnt mean they can hold you there for that much time! Legally, you are free to leave but depending on employer they may try to hold your pending salary/dues etc as a bargaining chip. But they dont have any legal right to do so and you can later file a civil suit to recover any amount that they dont pay up.
